Regulations
for library users
The Library
of the Faculty of Forestry is open every working day from 7 a.m. to
3 p.m.
Reading rooms of the Library are open from 7.30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Registration is from 7.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. and from 12.00 a.m. to 1.00
p.m.
Acceptance of receipts is from 7.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. and from 12.00
a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
The publications can be loaned or returned from 7.30 a.m. to 9.30 p.m.,
and from 12.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Library
has the summer working schedule (for the period July – August). The
decision of the Faculty Administration will be announced on the web-site.
Library
registration 
The
Library can be used by:
-
Teachers, staff and students of the Belgrade University and the Art
University of Belgrade, as well as by teachers and students of Advanced
Schools of Belgrade;
- Teachers and students of other Universities in the country and abroad;
- Authors in science and culture (art) fields, out of the University;
- High school pupils of the final grade, for the preparation of Final
examinations, from January 1st to September 1st;
- Pensioners and the unemployed with higher and high education;
- Other adult citizens, as temporary members.
Only the
members of the Library are allowed to work in the Library
and use
its holdings.
At the registration, a student shows the student booklet and ID card
or
passport. Other users show ID card, or passport, and the corresponding
certificate.
Using
of publications 
Members
of the Library can use the Library publications and it is possible to
search the database of the Library or to search on the Internet. Serial
publications, manuals,
dictionaries, old and rare books, as well as new inter-library loans
are used mainly in the Reading rooms.
The number of publications to be used out of the Library and the deadline
for return are different for different categories of users, as regulated
by the Library Regulations.
Library
holdings are used:
- In the Reading rooms of the Library
- By loan out of Library
- Inter-library loan
It
is prohibited to loan the following books out of Library:
- Old
and rare books (editions till 1920)
- Publication published during the Second World War
- Manuscript books
- Manuscripts and archive material
- Periodical publications (newspapers, journals, etc.)
- Publications of separate libraries – legacies
- Ph.D. Theses and M.Sc. Theses in manuscript (except by inter-library
loan)
- General information editions (bibliographies, encyclopaedias,lexicons,
dictionaries)
- Cartographic publications
- Bibliographic, jubilee and other significant editions
- Works with art reproductions (paintings and drawings) as well as luxurious
editions with illustrations
- Photo-documents, micro-films and microfishe
- Musical instruments and accessories
- Posters, advertisements, etc.
- Damaged and fragile publications
- Publications with unbound supplements
- Publications received by inter-library loan.
In Students'
Reading room the book can be kept not more than one month.
If it is not used successively for a 5 days, it is returned to the store.
In Teachers' Reading room the book can be kept not
more than three months. If it is not used successively for a 10 days,
it is returned to the store.
The users
of the Library can get at the same time the following
number of publications:
- University teachers and staff - up to 10 publications in reading rooms
and 10 publications out of Library
- Postgraduate students, scientific and cultural staff out of the University
- up to 5 publications in reading rooms and 5 publications out of Library
- Students and other members - up to 3 publications in reading rooms
and 3 publications out of Library
- The Secondary school pupils and temporary members - up to 3 publications
in the reading rooms.
Institutions
and enterprises can loan up to 5 publications out of the Library.
The members
are obliged to respect the deadlines for returning the books:
- University staff, Ph.D. students, scientific staff and culture staff
- up to 90 days
- Postgraduate students - up to 60 days Students, after depositing the
student booklet – up to 30 days
- Institutions, enterprises and other members – up to 30 days
- The Library staff – up to 90 days
The users
take the publications personally and also take their student booklet
and other documents personally. When necessary, the index can be returned
to the student, and the loaned publications will be kept for up to 3
days.
If
the publications are not returned to the Library after the deadline,
the Library can bring the necessary case for returning the publications.
The case starts with the reminder (warning). If the user does not return
the publications after three reminders, the Library will bring court
procedure. All costs connected to the procedure for returning the publications
are at the user's expense.
Inter-library
loan from libraries in the country 
The Library
organises inter-library loans with the libraries in the country. The
members of the Library can get the publications from the other libraries
with which this form of exchange is organised. It excludes the reference
publications. Only the copies of some articles can be provided from
serial publications. The loan service must be paid by the price list,
which depends on the price of this service in the library from which
the publication is loaned, type of the publication and postal costs.
The members
can order all the necessary literature by the inter-library loan from
the country, if they cannot find it in Belgrade libraries.
